About Exam -

It is also known as SBI Probationary officer( P.O) exam. The SBI PO exam mainly selects candidates for the management cadre of the bank. The selected candidates are given role of Probationary Officers during the training phase. Afterwards they move on to the Management roles on completion of their training.

Scheme of Examination -

The Selection process will consist of online test ( preliminary Exam and Main Exam) and Test of specified Opted local language

Phase 1 – preliminary Examination -

preliminary exam consisting of objective test for 100 marks will be conducted online

Structure of online Main Examination would be as follow

. List of medium of examination is according to state concerned.

. There will be negative marking for wrong answer in objective tests. ¼ th mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate ( for SC / ST / PWD Candidates 5% relaxation available thereon.)

. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject.

Test of Specified obtained local language -

Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th and 12th standard marksheet evidencing having studied the specified opted language will not subjected to any language test.
